This book, Elevate Prep ISEE Upper level study guide, is my favorite book - and I have tried MANY. Instead of wasting your money, the way I did, just buy this book FIRST. I also 100% recommend that you purchase the Comprehensive Video Course. If you purchase BOTH, you do not need a tutor. Save your money, because Elevate Prep has done all of the work for you. The video course actually details step-by-step answers to each question in all sections. Challenging, but prepares your student

My 8th grader used this book to self study for the ISEE. His strategy was to complete the practice tests and review the sections/questions which gave him trouble. His study focus was primarily in Quantitative Reasoning and Mathematics as the math instruction at his school was not the best. He went through all 3 practice tests, ensuring he knew how to approach each type of question. In the end, he felt he was well prepared and said the questions in this book were, in general, more challenging than those on the actual test. He got a great result with the scores he wanted, which enabled him to gain admittance to his school of choice. My 8th grader used this book to self study for the ISEE. Comprehensive program for ISEE preparation

Very good book with comprehensive questions on each section. We tried several tutors at Wyzant which costed us tons of money and were of not much help. Ultimately my daughter practised this book. It prepared her well for the ISEE exam. I dont suggest tutors at all, instead I suggest practice and this book provides that opportunity. Very good book with comprehensive questions on each section. A great tutoring/mathematics resource

This book is a home run!! I'm a math tutor who works with kids of all ages and have seen/used dozens of prep books over the years. This book is well organized and has a wide array of both routine and more challenging problems covering many content areas. I have used it both for standardized test preparation and simply to work on foundational skill-building and/or problem-solving strategies. I actually stumbled upon it by accident and feel very fortunate that I did. I would HIGHLY recommend it for both tutors and parents who are looking for the right mathematics resource for their child. I’m an ISEE prep tutor & just switched to this book from one I’ve used for 7 years. It has so much more practice material & the flow of the math sequence makes so much sense! I wish the answer keys were all in one place. We usually remove those from the other book to assist with student integrity. Favorite Book for the ISEE

Best ISEE book I’ve found for my students. What sets this book apart is not only the number of questions it has, but the fact that the questions are broken down into very specific topics, making it easy to teach my students concepts they’ve never learned before. Some other books only have 5-10 practice problems for certain topic, but this one has 20-40 problems for each math topic, plenty of reading practice, and hundreds of verbal questions broken down by question type. I purchased both books from Elevate Prep ( "2500+ Questions" and "Notes and Practice Tests" books) for our son's ISEE upper-level test prep. Both books are well organized and have tons of questions. I strongly recommend purchasing video lessons that explain the problems in the book in detail. Our son used the video lessons to supplement the books, especially for Math and received 95% in the real test's Quantitative section. He is extremely happy about the books from Elevate Prep. Also, when he did not understand an explanation or a question, he emailed the publisher. The author of the books, Lisa, was so helpful with her explanations and clarifications. I also recommend visiting Elevate Prep's website to download free colorful formula sheets that my son finds helpful.I strongly recommend the both books for a valuable resource for ISEE Upper level test prep. Very happy parent

I purchased this practice book along with their online video course for my youngest child. The book is fantastic. Comprehensive, easy to use, clearly formatted and focused, it has more than enough practice problems for my son to work through, and I'm confident the problems are preparing him for the questions that will show up on the test. As for the online course, I was a bit skeptical about having my son prepare online, but Elevate Prep’s course is great. The explanation videos are short enough that he doesn’t lose focus and the instructor explains the concepts in a way that is easy for him to understand.
